The Eyof and the European Union

Due to its character, the European Youth Olympic Festival contributes directly to reaching the goals of the Erasmus+ Programme and other EU policies in the fields of sport, youth, education and mobility

The EYOFs are regularly held in European countries including EU Member States

The 2009 Tampere, 2011 Liberec and 2013 Brasov EYOFs received funding from the EU as "non-commercial sport events"

The EYOF contributes to the objectives of the European Week of Sport (EWoS).

The European Olympic Committees is an official partner of the EWoS
